The Ghana Federation of Disability Organisations (GFD) is a national umbrella body for disability organizations in Ghana, established in 1987. GFD's mission is to create an inclusive society where every person, regardless of ability, can thrive in various aspects of life such as education, employment, and healthcare. The organization works towards mindset and attitudinal change, influencing policies, empowering Organizations of Persons with Disabilities, and raising awareness of the potential of persons with disabilities.
