Down Syndrome South Africa (DSSA) is a non-profit organization formed in 1986. It serves as a national umbrella body and advocacy group for the rights of individuals with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities. DSSA provides services to persons with Down syndrome, developmental delays, and their families through 12 regional associations and support groups across South Africa.
