Disabled Women in Development (DIWODE) is an NGO founded in 1999 by seven women with disabilities in Kampala, Uganda. The organization focuses on Livelihood programs and functional health, aiming to empower women with disabilities in the slums of Kisenyi 1 parish. DIWODE was officially registered as an NGO in 2002.
