About
The Southern Africa Federation of the Disabled (SAFOD) is a disability-focused network coordinating activities of organizations of Persons with Disabilities in 16 SADC countries. SAFOD focuses on strengthening the capacity of national affiliates to advocate for the rights of persons with disabilities, in line with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD). SAFOD aims to unlock an inclusive society for persons with disabilities in Southern Africa.
